Rare are the days when I'm prim and proper with my socks coordinated, hair combed out, with no lipstick on my teeth. On some days, I don't want to wear the structured blazer, the bunion-inducing heels and the winged eyeliners. For one such day is this outfit. There is something so satisfying in losing track of the song altogether and going off-beat, while the whole world is dancing to a tune. Like adding a heap of Macarena while everybody at work is doing the Waltz.
Look #2 - The Offbeat After the previous post where the same jumpsuit has been styled in a very structured and no-nonsense manner, I left the compass home and chose to style this in a very chilled and quirky way. Couple the jumpsuit with a pair of white sneakers, a cropped shrug in the same color and throw on some clear glasses to seal the deal. The pearl-embellished shrug oozes a classy and refined aura while the sneakers exude a casual and offbeat spirit. The juxtaposition between the two is worth being written about. You could even roll up the cuffs of your jumpsuit for added points of quirk to the look. Whether it's a red jumpsuit, a maxi dress with a side slit or even a pair of cropped trousers and a button down, the white sneakers just look extremely chic without trying too hard. Not to mention, they would look thoroughly rad when you exit the ballroom doing the Moonwalk.
Do tell me what you thought of how this look has been styled and shot in the comments below. We'll meet again in the next blog post, as we exhibit the last and final look at the "3 Ways to Breathe Life into your Regular Jumpsuit" series. Until then, don't lose your quirk and practice that Macarena. Hehe. Thanks for reading!
