3 Ways to wear a Shift Dress - Look #3 - The Girl

The last and final segment of the How To Shift series, involving ONE Shift Dress and half a dozen pictures to drive the point home is here! In the last two posts we scouted two distinct ways of wearing one item of clothing by trading a few accessories here and there. Today’s look is for those friends of mine who love their feminine avatar more than any other. They love the Sunday brunches, the cosmos at the clubs, binge-watching episodes of Gossip Girl and wondering how Blair Waldorf is always so put-together. Fret not for you can be just as chic as her with an added bonus of your personality shining through minus the grueling hours spent in front of your closet. If we need to be dressed for an event in less than 10 mins then most of us find ourselves reaching for a dress. A dress is one of the easiest (read as the laziest) ways to look presentable with less than half the effort involved. Tip: Throw on a dress, match your handbag and your footwear (in the same color family) and you are sorted! Just like that, you are SORTED! The detail that plenty of us overlook is that a simple effort of matching your shoes and bags is the most effortless way to a chic ensemble.

I paired my go-to Shift dress with a pair of golden sliders, an all-sequins clutch to carry the necessities and I’m out of the door to catch up with my girls and have a great time. Also, threw on a headband and swiveled the look from Chic to downright Cute.

Tell me what you thought of how this look has been styled in the comments below and what are your simple tips to keep your feminine avatar channeled into your everyday outfits.
